Using apt-get to import from Debian unstable

Is it possible add debian unstable(sid) to my sources.list (Warty)?  I
guess that I need to correct my /apt/preferences first. Did anybody
try this with succes?

DISCLAIMER: I have just Ubuntu on a laptop, and it rocks. You guys are
doing a great job. But I am do numerical physics for a living, so I
need a few extra packages that did not make it into "warty universe":
grace, gfortran, and octave-forge.
