Epson LQ 500 is listed, but drivers do not work. Many have tried.

Have read the man pages and like most of us who are not trained find
them to be of almost no use, can't understand them.
I will try to save as much info from these emails to windows using
knoppix as I can, so I can print it, and do a fresh install.
If that doesn't work, looks like back to man 9.1 and knoppix .
Am on a pension, can't afford a new printer. Getting too old for this.
