Warty install problem using a LG CRD-8360B CD-ROM

Ok, this time it freezes hard, even the double ctrl-alt-del doesn't
work. Is there some kind of console output for what's happening behind
the stage? I checked alt-F1 to alt-F12, but didn't find anything.
