Hi All:
I'm making a rather large document in OOo 1.1.3 and I've found that the
spell checker doesn't find any misspelled words. It seems to run and
asks me if I want to continue from the top of the document then it says
the the spellcheck is complete. I've deliberately misspelled a few
words just to see if it picks them out but it doesn't find them either.
I have the EN language packs and thesaurus installed.
This is a former Warty laptop that I upgraded to Hoary. And I'm
wondering if that is why I have OOo 1.1.3 instead of 2.0. I had some
problems doing a dist-upgrade on my desktop and ended up doing a
reinstall. I would do that on my laptop but I don't want to take a
chance on losing data while I'm not at home (I'm nearing the end of a
three week trip) and dependent the laptop.
So does anyone know how I can make the spellchecker function?
(Spellcheck works fine in Thunderbird, btw.)
Thanks,
Ed
