Hi!

Second day of Ubuntu on my computer. I am SuSE user and i had to the yesterday 
also Debian. Now Ubuntu replace Debian.
I have a few questions:

are there Real Player 10 for Ubuntu?
Sun Java

I am using KMail and K3b aplications. I cannot see KDE applications on menu. 
Debian has an Aplications option in menus on Ubuntu i don't have.

I run sudo passwd root and i have root in console but when i open Synaptic and 
ask me for root password i need to use user password.
