Hi ,
tried below, no value,
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 vfat rw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 vfat rw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,auto 0 0
Will not even show a list of floppy contents as root in terminal
with below I can at least see a list of floppy contents, changing "auto"
to "vfat" no more list.
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,umask=000,users,auto 0 0
Can copy files to Desktop (with above fstab), from terminal as root,
where they will open, but Gimp will not open them from .
/media/floppy0/cdburn.png
cannot drag/drop from nautilus folder. png's were written with Knoppix,
so can't understand permission problem.
Floppy will open with both Knoppix and Win98 (on this machine)
so figure floppy drive is OK.
Clicking floppy icon on screen opens folder, shows files.but will not
open them from folder.
Does show floppy free space, and icons for files.
Right clicking the files makes them dissappear from the folder.
