Gnome weather applet non-functional in hoary

Yeah, it's set to 'New York' currently.  No joy, just a question mark in
the icon, and no forecast, no radar map, nothing.

I've got a persistent connection to the internet via DSL, and the
firewall allows outbound connections.  I don't see any inbound firewall
errors.

If I read this correctly, the connection is never completed to either
server.


What am I doing wrong?
