Custom Kernel Question

I would like to build a custom smp kernel, I have built kernels numerous 
times so I dont need an explanation on that. What I am looking for is 
the source that when built will give me the exact current ubuntu k7 smp 
kernel. Overall the kernel is great, I just want to change one setting.

Anyone know where to get the config and how to import it into the basic 
linux-source package, or to just get the complete configured and 
pactched source?
