I don't know. I mentioned earlier I've got Linux Desktop Hacks which is put
out by O'Reilly (thanks to John btw) and it doesn't come off as being over
my head. And I consider myself a newb. With Linux anyway.

And the arguments about books being obsolete might as well be applied to all
computer and software books. Doesn't seem to stop them from filling the
shelves at the bookstores, and being on the discount racks within a year...

I'd like to see a book that follows the Linux Desktop Hacks style for
Ubuntu, or yes, something along the lines of
ubuntuguide.org<http://ubuntuguide.org>which would take the extra step
to explain what those commands are doing, as
opposed to the site's "do this" method. (I don't mean to slight the site in
any way, I've found it very helpful) But I don't suppose explaining the
commands would be information specific to Ubuntu.

LDH was a good suggestion because it covers a lot in a quick, simple way.
KDE tips and tweaks for my Kubuntu install, and Gnome for Ubuntu...I think
it'll be a good start for me.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you
can.
Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
