It doesn't; not the same thing.  There is another KDE project, working in 
partnership with Kat, which will do similar things to beagle.  The *OLD* name 
for it is "klink", but I forget the new name.  You could find the 
users/developers of it in #klink on irc.freenode.org, if you really need to, 
but it's not ready yet, so I wouldn't bother.
