multiple pc install

hi, i'm the system administrator for a university. we recently switched from windows xp to fedora core 3. now i am trying to switch to ubuntu. my problem is i need to install ubuntu on 300+ computers. if anyone could give me a step by step process on how to do automated install, or install across a network guide.....or even better yet a downloadable automated-ubuntu-image.iso, i would greatly appreciate it.
