Launchpad and Bugzilla?

I file a bug report a while back on LP and was told I needed to file it
on bugzilla.

Then I file a bug (unrelated) on bugzilla and it was ignored (for at
least a few weeks) I gave up checking after that.

I'm not surprized, having two bug tracking systems is redundant and
overkill.  Not to mention, confusing as hell and neither makes (obvious)
mention of where to file bugs.
