Ok, but while ntpdate is in main, rdate is in universe and thereby
unsupported (and it is not installed by default).  So is dog, which I
admittedly never has heard about before (Thanks for informing me!),
but if I would need that extra functionality I would get it, but for
ntpdate vs rdate the functionality needed (as described in this
thread) is already there - that was my point.
