Hey! I feel ripped off!

I installed the Kubuntu desktop and the kubuntu-artwork-usplash package was 
installed, but I didn't get the "blue" bootsplash. Still living with the old 
brown bootsplash in Maine.

Do I need to reconfigure my kernel?
