Quota activation fails (Breezy Server)

Hi everyone,
I built up a Ubuntu server with software Raid 5. I have installed the
quota packages and added the required
entries in the fstab file.

/dev/md1 / jfs
defaults,errors=remount-ro,usrquota,grpquota 0 1

I created then the files:

touch home/aquota.user
touch /home/aquota.group
chmod 600/home/aquota.*
quotacheck -avugm

quotaon -avug

on the last command to turn on the quota I get the following error:

quotaon: Cannot find quota file on / [/dev/md1] to turn quotas on/off.
quotaon: Cannot find quota file on / [/dev/md1] to turn quotas on/off.

a) what needs to be done so that this works on software Raid 5?

Thanks in advance for any help

Holger
