squirrelmail setup

Hi all
I wonder if someone could help me install squirrelmail on Ubuntu
.....I have installed squirrelmail, cyrus-imapd, apache and configured
the apache.conf file .....
If I browse to the server and login to squirrelmail I get the following error 

ERROR:

ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: SELECT "INBOX"
Reason Given: Mailbox does not exit
Query: SELECT "INBOX"
Reason Given: Mailbox does not exit

Please help!
