well i changed my tuner to pal_i being as i'm in the uk, so far i've
tried 1 and 24. 



since creating modprobe.conf in /etc i have  not received a picture in
tv time at all. The settings in modprobe.conf are almost the same as
those in /etc/modprobe.d/bttv. should is it not excessive to have the
same lines in two similar config files?
