This is *always* possible. It's less likely than with windows, if that's what
you're asking. If someone is calling you and pretending to be your bank, the
phone conversation itself should be your first concern: better to hang up and
call your bank directly on a number you trust, than to supply any information
over the phone to someone you're uncertain of.
