We have beeen using Ubuntu this year in our office and it does quite well.
But the features mentioned above would be great. The major problem for us
has been finding software fo accounting purposes. Quickbooks only runs on
windows and mac and so we are still forced to stay with microsoft. Ubuntu
pretty much does everything we need for it to do with programs like
openoffice and the cd buring from nautilus.
