Sorry, I've no solution to tell you. I just reply so that you wont feel 
alone.

Just to say I've the same problem. The ToUCam works well with on hoary but 
on breezy, it display a gray image. It does this with all video application 
(gnomemeeting, camorama, etc.). May be the V4L package is broken ? (V4L2 
works because I can grab TV with tvtime).
