No, it's quite advanced, you can search or browse in many different ways.
Packages are categorised for browsing, but also tagged with various keywords
for searching by particular tasks. You can also search by name, or for
keywords from the description, as well as by various package details such as
the version, what software is related, etc.
Basically, you'll like it ;)
