Using two or more news servers and utilizing only one .newsrc file?

Hi all,

I have to use two different news servers due to authentication configurations,
one at work and the other at home. I wanted to be able to see new messages at
home that haven't been read at work, so I thought I'd use one actual newsrc
file, and link to that file from the other files that were named after the news
server. However, Thunderbird didn't work this way and couldn't load any messages
at all.

I'd like to use T-bird as mail and news reader, but if the scenario mentioned
above isn't possible, I could start using another reader that is capable of such
manner. Requirements; IMAP, MIME handling, spam filtering. Nothing fancy. :)

Thanks in advance for any advice!
