True, and I only use it for monitoring.  The version in CVS for KDE 3.5
has a couple new features--such as the access point search actually does
something, but it is still going to be inadequate.



The situation in gnome is not much better, imo.  The answer is Redhat's
network manager program and it'll run on breezy (it requires updated
dbus and hal).  A couple people have already packaged it and are
working on it.
