Internet connection using Smart link 56k voice modem andUbuntu 5.04 AMD64

The driver from smartlink site doesn't work, because when you execute
modprobe slamr, running dmesg it says that cannot find symbol
get_device, put_device and another (kernel 2.6.10 disable this symbols
for non gpl code).

The solution is to download the drivers from

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/

i tryed the

and modprobe slamr goes fine.
