Sure, if you know in advance. For 6 years my regular user name has been
_______. After installing Ubuntu, though, that username and password is
admin, and I didn't know until the deed was done. What I'll do now is
create a new user, give it priviledge, then take my regular user off the
sudo list. Easy to fix, yes, but that doesn't mean it makes sense to do
it that way.
