Thanks, Peter. My sources.list is okay; I had merely enabled the
multiverse and universe repos too. I think my mistake was that I gave
the apt-get install command specifying 'ImageMagick'. Dumb mistake. In
the meantime, however, I tried out the Unofficial Add-On CD and
installed lots of stuff from that CD including ImageMagick.
