HP Laserjet 4000 works only for ASCII files

Hello,

I installed a machine with Ubuntu Linux, and put an HD Laserjet 4000 on it.
But I'm getting some trouble, does anyone have any clue to tell me what
could I do?

Good news:
- I can print a printer test page
- I can print an ASCII file (with gedit for example)

Bad news: when I try to print somethig with graphics (for example, a web
page), the software (for example, firefox) sends something to the printer.
The printer let the "data" led blinking. But nothing more happens.

I try to look for an error on the cups log, but I could not see anything
wrong. The log is bellow (51=ASCII text, 52=firefox print).

Where can be the problem here? Does anyone knows how to solve it? I believe
that this could have something to do with the postscript conversion, but the
gs command generate the .ps files with any problem.

Thanks,

Roberto
