ACPI Error

Hello community.

I have installed Kubuntu 5.10 on ASUS A3500L. Everything fine, but one 
trouble make
me sad: in system log I've seen a lot of message
  "ASUS ACPI: Error reading LCD status"
Such  messages  are generated with high speed, about 10 per second. Can 
you give me a way
to solve this problem?
