Slackware: Evil trash for sadomasochist geeks
Sun (not Linux, but hey): 'ZAPP!!' your 2 page email evaporates before
your eyes in less than a millisecond. GUI tools are a joke.
Red Hat: Kitchen sink anyone? Dependency hell. Ugly.
Fedora: Loads of stuff did't work. Wasted 3 perfectly good CD's
Mepis: Works out of the box? Not for me it dind't, no sound.
Mandrake: Cartoony stars.. Pengo & Friends. The Teletubbies would use
this one. At least the karaoke machine at a local bar runs reliably on
it. (seriously)
Linux TLE: Red Hat in Thai, and looks less disgusting. Otherwise similar
to Red Hat.
Damn Small Linux: Someone forgot a window manager that doesn't suck.
Puppy Linux: Pretty nice for the size.. Persistance didn't work right
though. (Or, 'at all', rather.)

None of this is a flame, obviously, just objective personal
experience. :) And uBuNtU rUlezzz :)

Cheers,
Chanchao
