HTML document as wallpaper on gnome

I'm pretty sure you can't do that. But the question I have for you is,
Why would someone want to do that in the first place? Perhaps there is
a good reason that I am blind to, but I just don't see why this would
be that important.

If this is the only thing keeping your wife back, you should be able
to eventually get her to switch :)
