To auto-login or to not auto-login?

It's well worth it. It teaches him about security. I install Ubuntu on a 
computer lab at a local elementary school. I created a user for each 
year group, and each computer has a sticker with pictures of animals. 
The pupils have to type the name of the animal to login (ie. that's 
their password). For the youngest years it's a simple word like "pig" 
and for the oldest kids it's "squirrel". :)  It teaches them the concept 
of passwords, and forces them to learn how to spell squirrel :)
