I checked on seagate's website, and the drive does definitely support
acoustic management, as I assumed.

The options was already available over a year ago, and it's still
"highly experimental" ? :-/
Also, the man page gives many, clear warnings for many of the other
commands, but they don't give any warning of any kind for the -M option.
