ubuntu-friendly broadband?

My ISP doesn't support Linux either, but I find I didn't need support,
as it "just works".

The modem they gave me has an Ethernet interface, and has a built-in
router. So basically all I had to do is plug the modem, then enable DHCP
for my network card (go to System->Administration->Networking), and
instantly I was on the net, didn't even need to type a password or
anything. Truly magic ! :o)
