Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

Well... unlike [seemingly] the masses, I am running Linux because of security 
issues w/the net ...not because I HATE WINDOWS or I HATE BILL GATES, or 
whatever other reason.  It *has* happened when my distro broke so completely 
that, in order to get help, I had to revert to 'Doze --yes, I use the slang 
terms, on occasion-- to get my e-mail & otherwise get some help.  That is 
not, contrary to [apparently] the popular belief of some, "the unpardonable 
sin".

Bottom line is that there is a damned-site better reason than hate that I use 
kubuntu or have used any other distro.  I started using Linux roughly a 
decade ago.  I still use XP, as well.  ...And I realize that nobody will ever 
talk to me again, as a result, as well. ;-) <LOL>  Bottom line is also the 
fact that if/when Linux has the complete software support similar to XP, I 
can see the day when I'll be able to wipe XP from my HD & not lose any 
productivity over it. :-)  I look forward to that!!  One day, in a few years' 
time, that'll doubtless happen; just not today.
