Well... unlike [seemingly] the masses, I am running Linux because of security
issues w/the net ...not because I HATE WINDOWS or I HATE BILL GATES, or
whatever other reason. It *has* happened when my distro broke so completely
that, in order to get help, I had to revert to 'Doze --yes, I use the slang
terms, on occasion-- to get my e-mail & otherwise get some help. That is
not, contrary to [apparently] the popular belief of some, "the unpardonable
sin".
Bottom line is that there is a damned-site better reason than hate that I use
kubuntu or have used any other distro. I started using Linux roughly a
decade ago. I still use XP, as well. ...And I realize that nobody will ever
talk to me again, as a result, as well. ;-) <LOL> Bottom line is also the
fact that if/when Linux has the complete software support similar to XP, I
can see the day when I'll be able to wipe XP from my HD & not lose any
productivity over it. :-) I look forward to that!! One day, in a few years'
time, that'll doubtless happen; just not today.
