distributions: UBUNTU vs DEBIAN

Others have indicated that once installed, there's not a huge
difference.  

We use debian (sid) here on workstations and stable on servers.  

However, for clients we use Ubuntu for workstations because they are
much quicker to set up and configure. Maintenance is less hassle (v sid)
and clients seem to take to the clean simplicity of Gnome very quickly.
