On the GUI side I like gFTP and I have to agree the other with Nautilus... I
use Nautilus but i usually connect ssh/sftp and it work great.
On the CLI side if I'm doing just a couple of files I'll use yafc, and rsync
when I need to either mirror or copy entire folders (I like rsync becuase it
can be used thru SSH).
You could also use FileZilla thru wine, I've had to use it once or twice (my
xbox is a little finicky when it comes to clients)
