openoffice does not show up as the spalsh never end in dapper

Hi all,

I have a weird problem with openoffice which once worked fine.

Now if I start writer or other ooo from menu, the splash window shows
and some icon instance appears in the bottom windows bar. After a
while the icon in bottom bar disappears but the splash remains there.
The splash window does not end no matter how long i wait!

I am totally clueless. I find in ps -A | grep oo , ps -A | grep office
and get things like "ooqstart", "soffice" and "soffice.bin". No error
message is popped and i don't know where the log file of ooo is, if
there is any.

I wish somebody can give a hint. Thanks!
