static IP: how to add an additional DNS?

Confirmed, "Search Domains" already contains my local domain and
127.0.0.1 is registered as DNS already. It doesn't make any difference
to keep or remove 127.0.0.1.
Also I don't have NetworkManager running. I think it's not needed and
does focus more on wireless networks but I'm talking about a wired
ethernet network.
