kmail in dapper beta crashes often on folder change

I think now, that probably my indexes are corrupted, because of several 
nameserver and pdns related system crashes, due to 100% load by pdns 
during upgrading breezy to dapper. My computer freezes several times 
until solving the pdns issue on my box.

My problem with kmail seems to be related to this bug:

Eventually it occurred 100% of the time when switching mailbox.
However, I just discovered that the command:
mv /home/john/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.*index* ~/mail.bak/
appears to have fixed the problem.
