Gedit in Dapper returns errors

Thank you, that solved the problem.



Like you, I didn't want to delete the offending file altogether, so
this is what I did:

    sudo mv /usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins/modelines.gedit-plugin /usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins/modelines.gedit-plugin-backup
--------------------




Worked like a charm. No more errors.
