You will need to set up for multiple monitors in your xorg.conf.

I have attached my file for multiple monitors, but I would highly 
recommend researching your video card and dual monitors through google, 
as there are many different ways this needs to be set up for different 
configurations.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask them, as this 
is a very complicated thing to set up.

In any further posts, please remember to include the model of your video 
card, as well as a short description of the setup that you are trying to 
achieve (one desktop spread to two monitors, two monitors showing the 
same thing, or the projector being the only monitor.) This may determine 
the way the help needs to be formatted/presented.
