What's the long-term view of LTS

6.06 is the Long Term Support edition, which means it'll be supported
for several years, yes? 3y on the desktop (so until June 2009) and 5y
on servers (so until June 2011). Do I have those dates correct?

So what & when will be the next LTS release that replaces 6.06? Will
it last the same time, or is that not decided yet?
