I have a widescreen NEC laptop with Intel graphics. All I had to do was install 915resolution *FROM THE REPOSITORIES*, so just install just like anything else using Synaptic, and after that it 'just-worked'. Didn't have to go into any configuration files, didn't have to make it run on startup, whatever it did it did it all by itself. Cheers, Chanchao
