The breezy kernel 2.6.12 familly have several critical SATA bugs the
ubuntu dev team will not fix like Bug 15324.

"This bug has been fixed in the latest kernel in our Dapper release.
There are no plans to fix this in breezy."
Breezy kernel SATA is broken and dapper is unstable. Either try dapper
or use a more suitable Linux distro that has less SATA buggy kernel.
There are too few Ubuntu developpers to update/support current release
and they focus on fixing the next one.
