`kubuntu' logo instead of `ubuntu' on boot?

Hi all,

I've had a very strange experience just this morning; I've had Ubuntu 
installed on this machine for quite a while, and spontaeneously when 
booting up this morning, I received a `kubuntu' logo on the splash 
startup, with blue text instead of the `human'-type colour.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen before? I'm not sure if I 
was simply too sleepy and was seeing things or not!
