Hi Duncan,

You could try to get the info by using avinfo

http://shounen.ru/soft/avinfo/english.shtml

This tool tells you everything you need to know about the file. They
don't have a .deb unfortunately. Hope you're savvy enhough to compile it
yourself?

I think to try the above is a better solution than using Gspot on a
windows machine ;)
