xterm problem

I don't use the scrollbar (since the xterm window will scroll using the
mouse wheel whether the bar is there or not), but here's how I fixed the
unreadable fonts.  I start xterm this way:

xterm -fa "Monospace" -fs 9 -bg white

I use the white background mainly because it shows up better on my
laptop when operating on battery.
