Issues here too... I'm getting mirror display, but not a streached 
desktop.  I've not spent much time on it though.  I'm running a HP 
Compaq nx9600 Laptop with an ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon Mobility 
X600.  I've got ATI's binary drivers installed and working very well.
