email of log messages

I don't know what I've done but it's evidently something. Cron and other
system tasks are no longer being emailed to root. This is on my breezy
server and dapper desktop.  It's since the beginning of Feb this year.

imap mail and fetchmail are both working on the breezy server so I can't
think of what I've changed (although it's obviously something)

Any ideas on what I should look for to turn this feature back on?
