Can't find network card

Don't know the answer, but note that ifconfig won't show a card that is
disabled/down. 'ifup eth0' might be enough.

To do it the command line way, edit /etc/network/interfaces to configure
your card. (Never used kubuntu - don't know how you'd do it via GUI).
